What's Your Response, Free Austin and Allies have partnered up to put on a coaster crawl. This event will be one of the many great awareness and educational events happening here in Austin as part of "Free Austin" To check out other events, panel discussions and film screenings check out http://www.freeaustin.org/.
If you haven't heard about our coaster crawls before here is a little info. The purpose of the crawl is to get the issue of human trafficking into public spaces, into conversation and into the minds of folks who simply haven't heard slavery still exists. On Saturday, September 17th you will gather up, receive some simple instructions, maps and lists of bars and/or coffee shops to visit. Once you enter an establishment you will take your time to share your passion about ending modern day slavery. If the manager or owner agrees you will leave a stock of our coasters that tell the stories of freed slaves from Austin. Check out the stories and coasters here. This is a great opportunity to take solid action to end slavery and educate your own community! We hope to see you there.

The Super Bowl is notorious for being a time of insanity for any town in which it is held. What most people don't know is that it is also a time when Human Trafficking increases an unexplainable amount. "What's Your Response?" has supplied a group of abolitionists in the Dallas / Ft. Worth Metroplex with coasters and they are planning a coaster crawl to educate their city about this travesty during super bowl weekend. The pub crawl is on Saturday January 29th at 6 pm. They will visit local bars and coffee houses all over the metroplex. If you are interested in joining them for the coaster crawl please email info@theeuc.com.

FIRST ANNUAL TRAFFICK JAM, Sunday, March 14th @ the Grotto - 517 University Dr. Ft. Worth, Texas 76107
Host: The Eucatastrophe, in association with, What’s your Response?
We are making an attempt to raise awareness about the horrors of human trafficking not only in the D.F.W. metroplex but around the world. Did you know that every 2 minutes a woman or child is either abducted off the street or lured here from other countries and forced into slavery,be it sex or forced labor. This is a serious issue that needs immediate attention. In addition to several local bands, we will have a few guest speakers to educate and inform you about the severity of this virus affecting our world. All this music, information and the opportunity to make an effect on the world. 12 hours of entertainment and information for only $10 at the door. All proceeds go toward funding the fight against human trafficking, even the bands have offered a percentage of their merchendise profit to lend a hand to the cause. So please, come out have a few drinks, enjoy some fine music and help us take a stand against these great atrocities plauging our society. Let your voice be heard.

Show up and help distribute coasters that tell the story of modern day slavery into bars, coffee shops and cafes in North Austin.
Please join us at Shoreline Event Center, 15201 Burnet Road, on Saturday, February 20th At 2:00pm. Here’s the plan, we want you and your friends to come and enjoy an afternoon out, stopping at several different places over a few hours. Well…with one small difference, you will be asking establishments owners or managers to “host” the coaster campaign. “Host” just means the bar, coffee shop or café will take the coasters and put them out for patrons to use and read. We will have sign up sheets for you to take down the information of establishments you visit. On February 20th we will gather up at 2:00pm at Shoreline Event Center, get instructions on which establishments in which parts of town to hit and be sent out. We will gather back up at 5:00pm to debrief on the afternoon.
If you have questions please contact austincoastercrawl@gmail.com or shelton@whatsyourresponse.com.
